NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
CAMPING ACTIVITIES, TEMPORARY OR SHORT-TERM
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in the Freedom Township Hall (11508 Pleasant Lake Road) to invite public comment on proposed amendments to articles 4.0 (Land Use Table, 6.0 (General Provisions), 11.0 (Off-Street Parking and Loading Regulations), and 19.0 (Definitions) of the Freedom Township Zoning Ordinance No. 43, by authority of Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, and for the purpose of establishing comprehensive standards for temporary or short-term camping activities as an accessory land use in the AR (Agricultural-Resource), R-2 (Rural Residential), LK (Lake), and PSP (Public/Semi-Public Services) zoning districts.
